Updates the Metro Code so the Metropolitan Attorney can settle claims against Metro and its employees for up to $25,000, and settle claims for damage to Metro property for up to $25,000. The attorney must talk with the affected department head before final approval of a settlement of $25,000 or less, or before asking the Council to approve a larger one. The attorney must also send quarterly reports on claims settled for $25,000 or less to the department heads involved and the Council.
